Notes
Storefront signs on Toronto main streets
A shop on a walkable Toronto street is usually first seen from the sidewalk, not from across a parking lot. That is true in the Junction, on Roncesvalles (Roncy), in Parkdale, on Dundas West, and on College in Little Italy.
Fascia from the street
The fascia sign is the name on the face of the building. On Bloor West in the Junction, that is the lettering people see from across the road or from a streetcar. Signbox installed this kind of work for Hoyra at 1566 Bloor Street West.
Blade signs from the sidewalk
On Roncy, Parkdale, Dundas West, and Bloorcourt, people often approach along the sidewalk. A blade sign, mounted perpendicular to the building, is what they read first. Signbox installed blade signs for Wenona Lodge in Bloorcourt and Biddell on Dundas West.
Windows and banners
Window vinyl and banners are the faster options when a shop needs to be named on the glass or above the door. Signbox installed a storefront banner for Spades Tactical in Little Italy, and window vinyl on Bloor Street in the Junction.
